Me and the forests

I thought that, all there’s about forests is the trees, the beauteous scenes, the oxygen, rainfall formation, food and so on. But a few weeks ago, as I flipped through the forestry archives, I was hit by surprises upon surprises, my eyes bound to read just the next line, I could hear my heart whisper to the book, “The song of Nature, how they live and why they matter.” “I want some more.” Then my urge for the best left me with no option but to know more about the world of forests; think with me, what do you know about the pharmacy of Life “ Amazon forest”, what of the water forest, I mean a forest growing in water, (Giant kelptic forest).

Then I was carried to a place, “Transylvania forest” with the Bermuda triangle, this time not swallowing anything passing above it, but inhabiting the indescribable creatures called the Dracula.

Join me in enjoying the preciousness of forests and to know the free and perfect gifts that nature has extended to us.

Old habits die hard. But understanding the stages of change can help you develop  healthy habits that stick. It is therefore imperative for individuals, social groups, companies and organizations to meet with the glory of the things that stick so as to thrive in the current time. Our ultimate reference point

After you have decided on your topic of reference and have operationally defined it, to mitigate extraneous variables. One is good to dig deeper into the past and present discoveries for him to add value to the wealth of knowledge that is present. One important thing in every research today is referencing. There are a different many ways of referencing, however depending on which profession one falls in, there will always be a way of referencing. A way of acknowledging the beauty in another person’s work and also an indirect way of saying, “If you want to broaden your knowledge regarding Topic X, please you can further read individual Y’s work.

My friend, I am not closing up the world of research to referencing, I acknowledge that there’s is more therein than reference. However, it is also beautiful to comprehend the beauty as a particular out of the whole. Every chapter in any research, has a place of referencing something, I can also term it as, “The place of acknowledgement.” Now, my apologies to you who has no relationship with research, I however request you to continue journeying with me in this piece, I am pretty sure, you will find yourself.
Most research is divided into five sections, also termed chapters. In the first is always introductions of the topic, in two you find review of literature, three is always the methodology, four has the results and interpretation and the fifth has the interpretation, with references being a must accompaniment. Now, why referencing? In this walk of life, every individual has a point of reference as they write out their five chapters. By five, I write to relate to research and not to accompany it with any spiritual significance except that which God attached to five.

There are archives of knowledge in the world, if knowledge were water, we would have a greater than the Pacific Ocean. Everywhere we go, there is written, writing and there will still be writing. There’s read, reading, more will read. However, there is the person that defines life, the person that defines the truth and the person that defines the way. For me to claim to know him from A to Z will not be right for in him is infinity. He is the beginning and ending, the Alpha and Omega, the son of God who took away the sin of the world. It is by Him (Jesus Christ) that all things consist. Nothing was made that was made without Him, He is the one that knows the end from the beginning. He is the light that lights up all men who come into the world. It is in Christ that it pleased Daddy God that the fullness of God, darling friend, we are talking about the fullness of God, nothing of God left out, all of God dwells in, resides in, is seen in, is revealed in Jesus Christ. It pleased the father that his fullness dwell in Christ Jesus.

The world is full of information, and people are desiring to add value to themselves, marriages, family, relationships, friends and all the other un-mentioned spheres of life. Psychology, sociology, economists, dieticians, Medics, the church and many more have written something for us all to read. In addition, conferences have been and are being organised for us all to go attending so we can add more value to ourselves. It is beautiful to read, I for one spend time reading a number of books and attending conferences and I have a church I belong to (Phaneroo Ministries, Uganda). However, beyond any book or conference, allow me say to you that, “Your ultimate value is seen in what buys you. When we were in the world with no help, dead in our sins, with no hope at all, God looking upon us in and with love. Desiring that we, who by one man’s offence suffered separation from God, yet still He loved us, he envisioned us, he thought of us all time with hope of restoring us back to himself. But this was to be with a price, it had to cost him everything he had to earn us.

Daddy God, of all beautiful creatures that were present in heaven, haven’t you heard of the angels; Gabriel and Micheal, of them all God saw us and valued us to His son. Before him, was his son and us, he chose not to spare his son, his only son but that the wrath that was to come upon us may fall on him so we can be many sons in glory. Jesus is here in flesh to pay the price with his very life, if he were a good for sell, He was the most valued of all that was present in heaven, and God is giving him up for us that he may have us to himself. Jesus had never been separated from Daddy God, His was one and still is one but because of us, on the cross, I can hear him saying, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me.” He had never called him God but because he has always been a Father, but this time as He pays price, its my God we are hearing. That was because God wanted to have me and you to himself, sharing oneness and love with Him. Our lives before his death, were sealed with death, I mean the wrath of God was our destiny but on the cross, while he is un-sealing us from wrath, the wrath of God, all that is our punishment, now his punishment. Revelations 8:1 “When the lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence throughout heaven for about half an hour.”

Number seven speaks of perfection, the seventh seal here is showing that Jesus experienced the full wrath of God for us. Darling, it all fell upon Jesus for you who is born again. God is today not carrying any wrath against you who is Christ, for in and on Christ, the wrath of God was satisfied, the trumpets, bowls and many more of God’s wrath fell upon Jesus on the Cross. When Jesus was on the cross full man and full God, dying for you and me, heaven paused, because there was a change in the course of things, for it pleased God that Jesus should suffer because 2Corinthians 5:19 “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting peoples sins against them, and he gave us the wonderful message of reconciliation. The mutual understanding here was that a soul that sins shall die, bargaining is not allowed, so since we sinned, our destiny is death but Love has chosen to face our punishment. So Jesus dies that we today may never die. He is calling him my God that we can have boldness to call him my Father.

My friend, this is how valued and loved you are, if you are not born again, you only share in this after accepting and believing what Jesus did for you. All that Jesus did and went through was for us today to enjoy sonship in the kingdom of God. Therefore, with the many voices that speak in the world, in books, in conferences, in church, in friends, in governments and everywhere, it is beautiful that we look to Jesus as the ultimate definition of the value in us, let him be our reference point, because with his life he bought us. When you know how much you’re valued, you don’t strain to in your own efforts to try to please Daddy God, because what he gave is much more, more, more than what we will ever do to please him by our works. Daddy is already pleased with you because Jesus died for you. As much as Jesus is loved by Daddy God, so are you as an individual loved by Him.

In John 14:6 Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the Life, no one can get to the father except through me. As you attend the conferences, go to church, read the book, listen to a sermon, understand, and let it be home in you that I am because Jesus is. When your weaknesses speak to you, go to your reference point, dig deeper regarding what Jesus has done for you and find strength in what he accomplished for you. Find strength in him being made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God. For in the presence of the many voices speaking, I pray the voice of your value Jesus Christ shall supercede the rest, anchoring you in this Love that can’t be quenched by many waters in Christ, this love which is better than love, that we seeing down his life for us because he loved us, this love which is stronger than death, that raised Jesus from the dead to see you seated with him in the heavenly place. Love which is everlasting, that he will love you yesterday, today and forever.

Your life is wrapped up in Christ

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews 2:17

In the Old Testament, the Israelites’ standing as a nation before God was wrapped up in the standing of their high priest. What the high priest was before God, so was the entire nation before God.

If the high priest sinned, he brought guilt on his nation, and God would reject the entire nation no matter how law-abiding the people were or how faithful they were in bringing their sacrifices.

Conversely, if their high priest was without fault and acceptable to God, God would accept the whole nation even if the people were sinful.

Unfortunately, the high priests of Israel often failed because like any human being, they were imperfect.

Thank God that today, you and I have Jesus as our High Priest, who is 100 per cent Man and 100 per cent God. As our High Priest, His standing before God is always right. Jesus is always acceptable and pleasing to the Father. Therefore, we can never lose our acceptance with God because as our High Priest, Jesus only brings righteousness on His people.

In heaven right now, Jesus our High Priest is seated at the right hand of God the Father (see Romans 8:34). This means that God does not look at you. He looks at Jesus. If Jesus is good, you are good. If Jesus is accepted, you are accepted. If God sees Jesus perfect, then He sees you perfect. If Jesus is righteous, then you are righteous. And we know that Jesus our High Priest is good, accepted, perfect and righteous, which means that that is how God sees us!

My friend, you cannot lose your right standing because Jesus Christ is your High Priest. To lose your standing, Jesus has to lose His standing first. But we know that we have in Jesus a High Priest who is perfect and who cannot fail. So you need never be afraid or conscious of your faults when you come before God. Because your standing is completely wrapped up in Jesus your High Priest, you can come to God boldly and receive all that you need from Him!

In an Interview

I have been before one interview panel, this happened last year, 2017 in early October. In this panel, most of the questions were centered on me as an individual entity and the work I had applied to engage myself in. I had before aired out to all around me, how good a research assistant I was, I shared with them the knowledge and experience from the contractual research job I had participated in. truly, in my world, I think all my friends knew me for the best research assistant. During the panel, the job was not research based but my research skill would argue out a place for me. Here I am, before the enlightened ones, firing all the necessary questions, and I have to convince each one of them, for me to have a job. It’s beautiful I satisfied the panel and finally won myself the job.

I acknowledge the place of the favor of God going before men of my kind in such scenarios, but I have a point I want to make home in this. With a psychology background, I had never associated myself with any research related work in my life. All I knew were mental and behavioral disorders that I had met in my lecture rooms. In January 2016, I had an opportunity to volunteer with a young research center, this data center had two desktop computers in a small room. During my time there, I met the term and practice of data entry, for one month, I did data entry. Those in research know, that’s not enough to be a research assistant.

After the volunteering, It was semester time, the small seed of data entry required fertile soils for me to grow it, my school was not a kind that would wholesomely give you all that is required for a research assistant. I started to teach myself and enquire of my statistician friends regarding data analysis/entry software. They would teach me and with time, I had known and related with a number of them. They were like a girl friend to me, I would sing their name and practice their purpose. I after became a young coach. If they asked me about SPSS, I would gladly sing back the answer and play the instruments of demonstration. I had a level I had reached, but I still had those in my life that I continued to learn from.

For example, one evening in 2016, I moved to Ntinda in Uganda, went to one of the non-government organizations and asked for any work opportunity. It was about 20 minutes to closure of work business. The Monitoring and evaluation Officer gladly asked me, “What can you do?” With all the confidence, I replied, “Data Entry.” He after asked for my number, after two days, on a Monday, he requested me to get a team of people and we go enter company data. Knowing I wasn’t a statistician, I picked friends with a mastery of the field. I was recognized as a statistician in the company but this was the beauty, what was, had made me run to the owner of the field. At the end we did clean work and in the next year, we were called back by the same company.

In the book of Song of Songs, it’s a love piece, it’s of all the songs Solomon wrote, the handpicked Song of Songs. I personally believe that this Song of Songs is of Christ and the church. The farmer boy being Jesus who took on flesh, leaving his glory in heaven to win us over to himself as a man on the cross. He is king but because of his love for us, chose to take on flesh for us to be his. This book is a call to intimacy with God. This book is a calling to deeper intimacy, a relationship with God where our oneness with him is expressed and shared in a love that is unconditional.

So, Isaac, what is with your interview, research assistant and data analysis history? Thank you for asking. In the book of Song of Solomon, there’s a group of women referred to as “Ladies of Jerusalem” who keep asking the woman in love for example, “Song of Solomon 5:9 Why is your lover better than others, O woman of rare beauty? What makes your lover so special that we must promise this?”
These questions are directed towards the church regarding our darling Jesus. And the best of answers to the questions come from having an intimacy with someone. “Love does not just want Knowledge, it wants intimacy.” A man with knowledge without intimacy is at most highly likely to carry many questions as compared to one with knowledge and intimacy.

Therefore I use my interview as a sample of the women of Jerusalem who want to know why what you have to offer is better than all that is present. Why is Jesus so precious compared to any other man in human history, why is Jesus better than any ideology and school of thought. Why is Jesus more precious than anything in the past, the present and in the future? Why is Jesus the only thing that we are, and will forever give to the world? Why is he the song on our lips, why is he the ink in our pens, why is Jesus the shirt we put on, why is he the lens in our eyes, why is Jesus the dance of our life, Why is He the all that we want our families, friends, enemies, people near and far to know, why do we want them to know him? Why?

Ultimately, above all the good things that accompany salvation. 1Corinthians13:13 And now abides faith, hope and love; but the greatest of these is Love. So we speak of Jesus because he is the entity love, Love that accepts all, love that believes in us all as individual entities and as a whole. Jesus is Love which is the backbone of all that is of God for surely, God is Love. Jesus is the Intimacy that a drunkard is looking for, He is the intimacy that a wife is fighting against her husband in her marriage, Jesus is the peace a rich man is looking for in his sleepless nights, He is the confidence and value that parents want to see in their children, Jesus is the Joy, happiness and satisfaction that the depressed and suicidal are asking for in their hearts and minds. Jesus is the healing that the sick need, he is the hope for a better future that the adolescent is trying to envision, He is the self-esteem that the sexually immoral is fighting for, and Jesus is the wall of protection that governments are sleeplessly planning for, Jesus is the good economist that planners are thinking of. Jesus is everything in everything.

An Intimacy with Jesus is absolute, the door is open to all of us, and it’s beyond ones shortcomings for He became sin for us, Jesus who knew no sin, That In Jesus, we might be made the righteousness of God. Love has no strings, like the lost son, Daddy God is running to you to shower you with love, putting a ring of your full assurance of sonship in his Kingdom. Also, Like the lost sheep, Jesus wants to put you on his shoulder and get heaven celebrate every day and like a lost coin, The holy spirit is turning tables to make sure your enjoying this love, calling all the neighbours to witness you enjoy. For surely, while we were still sinners, God gave us his son to die for our sins. Your sin is not big enough to stop God from showering you with Love.

His the God of Valleys

1 Kings 20:23

Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him, “Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they.

In 1 Kings 20, we find the Syrians being defeated by the Israelites. Then, some of the Syrian king’s advisers gave the king what they thought was the reason for their defeat. They said that they had fought on the hills and lost because Israel’s God is the God of the hills. So if they were to fight the Israelites on the plains or in the valleys, they would win.

What stupid advice! They thought that the God of Israel only helped His people up in the hills and mountains, and not down in the valleys.

Now, mountains refer to our good times, and valleys, our bad times. Some people have this idea that God is the God of our good times, but He is not there when we are going through bad times. They think that He leaves us helpless in the valleys, especially when the troubles are of our own making.

My friend, I want you to know that our God is the God of the mountains, but He is also the God of the valleys!

God the Son laid aside His crown of glory, His royal majesty and came down for us, stepping into a human body as a baby. He came down to where we were for the sole purpose of dying on the cross for our sins, so that He could bring us up to what God the Father has for us at His right hand. Jesus came down to crown us with glory and honor, to clothe us with robes of righteousness and make us His bride, sharing everything that He has with us. That is the grace of God. He came down to our valley.

So whatever you are going through right now, know that God is right there in your valley with you. He is holding you in His arms and carrying you through the valley. Victory is already yours. Just as the Israelites were also victorious in the valley (see 1 Kings 20:28–29), so will you be because the God of the valleys is right there with you!

Leviticus 27:12

…the priest shall set a value for it, whether it is good or bad; as you, the priest, value it, so it shall be.

Your colleague says that this week is going to be a lousy one because the new boss is mean. You disagree and say that it is going to be a blessed week. Both of you will go through the same week, but with very different outcomes. While your friend’s week will indeed turn out to be a lousy one, yours will be filled with the favor of the Lord!

In the Old Testament, when someone brought what he had to the priest for a valuation, whatever the priest assessed the value of the item to be, it was so. If he assessed it to be of good value, then it was of good value. If he assessed it to be of poor value, then it was of poor value.

Today, you are also a priest because of Jesus’ blood (see Revelation 1:5–6). And “as you, the priest, value it, so it shall be.” If you assess your year to be one of financial breakthroughs, so it will be for you. If you assess your life to be filled with divine health, so it will be for you.

There was a stroke patient who was bedridden. While listening to my recorded sermons, he assessed that with God as his salvation, his life would be long and satisfying (see Psalm 91:16). He believed that God would help him walk again. Not too long after his assessment, he was able to walk and was no longer bound to the bed! The next assessment he made about his health was complete recovery with God as his helper.

Actually, you have more authority than the Levitical priests of the Old Testament. They were of the old priesthood of mortal men. But you are of the greater and “forever” priesthood of Jesus (see Hebrews 7:8,17)! Not only that, you are a king-priest (see Revelation 1:6). In other words, you are a king as well! And as a king, your assessment is also binding because where the word of a king is, there is power (see Ecclesiastes 8:4)!

My friend, this means that you have a double portion of assessment power. Therefore, boldly assess good things for your life, and it will be so for you!

Let Your heart not be troubled

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The night before Jesus died, He gave His peace to His disciples—“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…” This peace was not just for His disciples, but also for us today. We have His peace.

The moment you believe in Jesus Christ, He who is the Prince of Peace comes to live inside you. And when the Prince of Peace resides in you, every blessing that you will ever need pertaining to your soundness and wholeness is already inside you.

“Pastor Prince, if this is true, then why do I still see problems in my health, finances, family and relationships?”

The answer is a troubled heart. That is why after Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you,” He said, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

A troubled and fearful heart works like fingers that clamp down hard on a water hose. The supply of water is flowing from the tap, but little or nothing is coming out at the other end of the hose. God’s ever-present supply of blessings toward you is like the water flowing freely from the tap. But you don’t see the blessings when you allow your heart to be gripped by worry or fear.

So when fearful, anxious thoughts come, remind yourself of Jesus’ words: “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Even when things appear to get worse, say, “Lord, I refuse to worry about this. In the midst of all this, I see the finished work of Christ. He said, ‘It is finished!’ So my child’s healing is accomplished. My marriage is blessed. My debts are cleared. I will let not my heart be troubled by these things.”

Beloved, I cannot “let not” for you. Your family and friends cannot “let not” for you. Only you can “let not your heart be troubled.” So guard your heart from being troubled. You don’t have to guard your career, reputation, children or even health. When you guard your heart, God will guard everything else for you!

Daddy I received Your Message.

The Father, who loves you

Throne of Grace

The Heavenly Influence

Through: Jesus Christ,

The Author and Finisher of our Faith.

To: The reader whom I love,

Child of Grace,

P.O. BOX, In Christ Jesus.

Dear Chosen/Peculiar Person

Ref: Affirming My Love for you as an established, eternal entity in me for You.

I am writing in regard to the thoughts that have at some point during your days, crossed your mind. These thoughts have in times of your weakness, child tried to prove you as a less qualified person for the love I carry for you. Some, are not born again because they think I am against them, others have erred in their Christian walk and have counted themselves as failures in this beautiful walk of salvation.

Child, beyond the thoughts that cross your mind, your past, your weaknesses or strengths or any other thing which may present itself in this walk of salvation. I share with you the heart of a father, that in the time I gave my son Jesus Christ to die for you on the cross, I saw your sins; from the beginning to the ending. On the cross, the blood of Jesus washed away all your sin and this is because of the love I carry for you. For I (Daddy God) personally present, was in Christ, reconciling and restoring you (the world) to favour with myself, not counting up and holding against you (men) their trespasses but cancelling them, bringing you in harmony with myself (Daddy God).

Child, it is paramount to you, that as you live here on earth, in this mortal which after the last trumpet will be turned into immortal, to understand that: My relationship with you, the love I carry in me for you, the reason I bless and want to bless and my place of accepting you, is not in any way dependent on your past, it is not next to being determined by what you do or do not do, neither is it anywhere related to the bigness or smallness of your sin or addiction. It is solely dependent on the preciousness of the perfect sacrifice of My son Jesus Christ on that cross. And because he resurrected, the assurance for your acceptance before me is a done deal by grace through faith in Christ Jesus.

My beloved child, Herein, is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His only begotten Son to be the propitiation for our sins, My child, when I set out to love you, before the foundations of the earth, I provided for every possible thing that would come in our way of relating, that provision is the perfectness of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, greater than any sin you have, are and will ever commit. That is why, when you accept Jesus, you receive eternal life and eternal life is eternal because it is eternal. This is my assurance child to you, even in the deepest waters, I will be with you. In the fire, I will be with you and I will be with you till the end of the age.

This in relation to the times past. In the time of the law and the prophets, in as much as I loved to do good to them and for them, I was limited by their sin, “For my hand is not short that it cannot save, nor my ears deaf that they can’t hear, but your sins have separated you from me” I was present, but they had been taken far away from me because of their sin. But thank Jesus, the story has changed, Jesus moved out and is out searching to bring you back, this is because I love you. Because of his perfect sacrifice, I am with you both at your worst and best. In your weakness and strength, in your tears and joy. I am always here with you because I love you, because you are a treasure to me. And so, my heart is with you, “for where a man’s treasure is, there his heart is.”

Regarding transformation Child, I encourage you to open to the pages of 2 Corinthians 3:4-5, “We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ.  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” Your place of transformation, inside out is in me, it is in you knowing that I love you irrespective of your past, weakness, sin, failure, addiction or any other thing that may deem fit. Child, can you trust me with what I have called knowing therein is the power of transformation, irrespective of your current state. Will you trust me in the word I sent you in the person of Jesus which is able to bring to evidence that which I saw on the cross as a result of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Will believe and proclaim with me that,

You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The grace of God at work in me is producing results.

Jesus is the power that works in me, birthing transformation from within my heart.

I am upheld by God’s right hand for beautiful things in this world.

I am the most loved child of Daddy God irrespective of my past, present and future.

Because of Jesus, my marriage is blessed, my children are blessed, I and my family have chosen the way of Grace, the way of trusting Jesus.

To sum up child for today, I desire that you come to the truth which is in Jesus Christ. For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who called you out of Darkness into his marvelous light.

Yours, The ever present loving Father,

Daddy God.

Christ, our Mercy seat.

Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

In the Old Testament, there was a place where God met with His people. In Exodus 25:22, God said, “And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony…” This place was above the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant, under the wings of the two cherubim. The psalmist calls it “the secret place of the Most High…under the shadow of the Almighty.”

The mercy seat covered the ark which contained the three emblems of man’s rebellion: the golden pot of manna—man’s rebellion against God’s provision, two tablets of stone on which God wrote the Ten Commandments—man’s rebellion against God’s standard, and Aaron’s rod—man’s rebellion against God’s authority. Once a year on the Day of Atonement, the high priest would sprinkle the blood of the sacrificed animal on the mercy seat and so make propitiation for the sins of Israel.

Today, it is not the blood of animals that makes propitiation for our sins, but the holy blood of the Son of God (see Romans 3:24–25). The word for “propitiation” in the original Greek text is hilasterion, which actually means “mercy seat.” So Christ is our mercy seat. His blood speaks for us and puts God on our side. God does not see our rebellion. He sees the blood of His Son and accepts us!

That is why we can come boldly to the secret place of the Most High, in Christ, and feel secure that we have every right to be in God’s presence. We can come boldly to Him to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (see Hebrews 4:16).

And because Christ, our mercy seat, covers us with His blood, we are under God’s protection. We are in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. Here, no evil will befall us, nor will any plague come near our dwelling (see Psalm 91:9–10). In the secret place of the Most High, we are favored and kept safe from all harm!

Joint heirs with Jesus

Romans 8:16–17

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ…

As long as you are born again, you are no longer a “slave,” but a son of the Most High God. And God does not just call you His son. He also calls you “an heir” through Christ (see Galatians 4:7). In fact, Romans 8:17 says that you are “joint heirs” with Christ.

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you inherit everything that He is. How precious Jesus is to the Father, is how precious you are to the Father. The way the Father loves Jesus, is the way the Father loves you!

How accepted are you by God today? Look at Jesus. That is how accepted you are! Christ is the measure of your acceptance. How favored are you by God? Look at Jesus, who is seated at the Father’s right hand. You enjoy that same favor today because whatever Christ enjoys, you enjoy!

As a joint heir with Christ Jesus, you also inherit all that He has obtained from the Father. How much Jesus has, is how much you have. How prosperous is the one who made all things, and who put the gold, silver and diamonds in the earth? So are you in this world (see 1 John 4:17)!

I used to read the Bible to find out how to be a successful and victorious Christian. But now, I read it to find out more about Jesus because I know that when I find Him, I find my every blessing in Him (see Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3).

My friend, all that Jesus is in heaven today, you are in this world. All that belongs to Him belongs to you. That is why it is in your interest to know Him more, to see Him in all His glory and beauty. And because Jesus is so glorious, it will take you a lifetime to discover everything that He has done for you and has for you.

Beloved, you are an heir of the Most High God. You are a joint heir with Christ Jesus. So find out all the blessings that your rich inheritance includes and start walking in them today!

Your Qualification for God’s Blessing

Deuteronomy 28:2

And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you…

God loves to bless you. He has even declared that “blessings shall come upon you and overtake you.” This means that you can’t run fast enough to escape them! When you turn one corner, there is a blessing waiting for you. When you turn another corner, you run smack into another blessing!

Now, you may think that you don’t qualify for God’s blessings because of the preceding verse which says that these blessings will come to pass only if you diligently obey God’s voice and keep all of His commandments. You know that no matter how hard you try, you just cannot keep all of God’s commandments. In fact, the Bible says that if you fail to keep just one commandment, you fail to keep all (see James 2:10).

My friend, I have good news for you: Jesus is the one who qualifies us for every single blessing because He has kept all of God’s commandments. When He died for us on the cross, He not only fulfilled all of God’s commandments, He also redeemed us from the curse of the law (see Galatians 3:13). Note that He did not redeem us from the blessings of the law, so the blessings are still ours today!

As you read the list of blessings in Deuteronomy 28, starting with “Blessed shall you be in the city…in the country…the fruit of your body…your basket…when you come in…when you go out…” (Deuteronomy 28:3–13), I believe that Jesus is saying to you, “Like the blessings? Then take them by faith!”

You may say, “But I don’t deserve them.” Yes, you don’t deserve them, but you still get them because of Jesus. That is God’s grace! The law says, “You must deserve the blessings.” But the law is no longer here. Grace is here. So take the blessings by grace through faith. Believe God for the blessings.

Today, it is no longer a question of how much or how well you have kept God’s commandments. It is a question of how much you can believe God for His blessings. All the promises of God in Christ are “Yes,” and because you are in Christ, you can say “Amen!” to His blessings (see 2 Corinthians 1:20)!
